BENSON-Lori Ann, (Whitaker), 44, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Born April 26, 1963 in Tulsa, to Jo Potts Fritz and Richard Dean Potts. Lori bravely battled and survived a brain tumor and surgery, but suffered related complications. A devoted mother, homemaker and dear friend to all who knew her. She was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger; she made friends for life and was the glue that kept family members in touch with each other. She loved cooking, trying new recipes and collecting antique dishware. A lifetime resident of Tulsa and graduated from Hale High School in 1981. Lori was a Business Development Officer with Bank of Oklahoma until 2004. Survived by: her devoted husband, Derrick; son, Jeffery Dale Hopkins and wife, Kendal; daughter, Sara Rene Whitaker; stepson, JB Hopkins and wife, Shea, their daughter, Keira; parents, Jo and Dale Fritz; sister, Vicki Moody and husband, Jim; nephews, Jordan and Evan Hartsfield.
