Press C. Southworth, 94, of 92 Powhatan Ave., died in Mount Carmel Medical Center on Friday, Nov. 9, 1979.

Mr. Southworth was retired as the Assistant Grand Chief Engineer of B. & L. E., and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers He was a member of Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Mary Virginia Kruse, Columbus and Mrs. Margaret Ann Carroll of California; a son, Press C. Southworth Jr., and Robert T. Southworth, both of Columbus; 16 grandchldren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 10 great great-grandchildren; plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass in his church with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Columbus.
