Janice was born in Marion on October 10, 1928, the son of James and Jane (Sider) Bent.
Janice worked at Sycon for 13 years and then at Morning View Nursing Home for another 13 years. She loved going to yard sales and baking. She was known for her holiday cookies and candy.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Crace; 3 grandchildren: Tyson Skinner, Janet Lusk and Zandria Skinner; numerous great grandchildren; and daughters-in-law: Phyllis Skinner and Sheila Maniaci.
Janice is preceded in death by her children: Bobby, Gary and Dale Skinner; 1 brother; 5 sisters; and 1 son-in-law.
Services for Janice will be held privately by her family.
