On October 21, 1950, he married Dolores “Tootsie” Washington. Virgil was a retired farmer, loved working in his yard, going to Terry’s Café for coffee, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and visiting with his great granddaughter. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Bessie, his wife, Tootsie, brothers, Everett, Clifford, and Owen Robinson, sisters, Jewel Boozer and infant sister, Bonnie.
Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Pam and Mark Graham, granddaughter and husband, Lindsey and Michael Kiratzis, and great granddaughter, Mila Kate Kiratzis.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday November 9, 2020 in the Greene County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
There will be no visitation.
Pallbearers are Ward Robinson, Shay Robinson, Doyle Reddick Jr., Bill Walls, Charles Willis, and Richard Smith.
