Elizabeth V. "Petie" St. George, died at 5:25 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Heartland Health Care and Rehab, Galesburg.

Petie was born March 2, 1923 in Galesburg, the daughter of Burrell and Nellie (Wilkins) Harrison. She married Richard Lee St. George on February 10, 1940 in Kahoka, MO. Dick preceded her in death in 1994. Petie is survived by two sons, Robert (Rose) St. George and Art (Sandy) St. George both of Galesburg; one daughter, Ginny Roberts of Galesburg; one son-in-law, Fred McNamee; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Petie was preceded in death by two daughters, Missy McNamee and Dixie Quinn; two grandchildren, Shannon St. George and Brian Shipley; three brothers; five sisters; and one son-in-law, Rodger Quinn.

Petie worked at OT Johnson's, Rodger's Shoe Store, Kleine's, and retired from OMC Gale Products after 15 years. Always moving, Petie was an active member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, and a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She also volunteered at the OSF St. Mary Gift Shop for many years and was a member of the Covenant Church.

Cremation will be accorded. Family services will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg. Chaplain Jordan Knight will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be designated at a later date.
