Kathy D. Ford, 66, of Columbus passed from this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 2:27 a.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Kathy was born on January 26, 1954 on the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida the daughter of Bernard E. and Audrey J. Crouch Pruitt. On June 15, 1974 she married Roscoe “Rocky” Ford.
Mrs. Ford had worked for 42 years at Southwestern Bartholomew County Water Corporation and enjoyed sewing and doing genealogy.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Roscoe “Rocky” Ford of Columbus; her mother, Audrey J. Crouch Pruitt of Columbus; daughter, Amanda “Mandy” (Jeremy) Nye of Columbus; grandchildren, Audrey, John Henry, Noah, Emma, and Ella Mae Nye; siblings, Sandy (Ron) Gutzwiller of Kokomo and Gary (Julie) Pruitt of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Carly Pruitt, Jenna Pruitt, and Jacob Gutzwiller.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Debbie Pruitt.
Private graveside services will be held at Mount Healthy Cemetery.
