With a sad heart, Mary Ann Kramer, 71, went to be with her heavenly father on November 2, 2020. Mary Ann was born on January 26, 1949 in Bellville, Texas to her loving parents Edward “Eddie” Mazyn and Bernice Sebesta Mazyn.

Mary Ann spent her entire life devoted to her family, her parents, her husband, and her son. Mary Ann was a devout Catholic and attended mass every weekend. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus parish in Beasley where she enjoyed singing in the church choir.

She worked at St. John’s Methodist School for Little Children as a school secretary and bookkeeper for 35 years until she retired. She was loved by all the little children as well as the staff, who became more like family than coworkers. She could not go to the store without having a little child come running up to her calling "Mrs. Kramer, Mrs. Kramer" and giving her a hug. Mary Ann even met a student who was grown and had a child of her own and told her that Mary Ann was the reason she enrolled her child into to St John’s. She was truly loved by one and all and will be greatly missed.

Mary Ann is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 45 years, Gary, and the joy and love of her life, her son, Jeff. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Layton, and her husband, Patrick “Darrell” Layton, along with many aunts and uncles and their families.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Mazyn, and her mother, Bernice Mazyn.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Beasley, with a rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m. Burial to take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, Texas 77471, Phone: 281-341-8800.
