Mrs. Bertha L. Landers, 91, of 1232 1/2 14 1/2 St., Rock Island, died yesterday morning at Moline Public Hospital.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. in the Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, with the Rev. Charles B. Pendleton, pastor of the Gloria Dei United Presbyterian Church, Rock Island, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation will be at the funeral home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
The former Bertha Huss was born May 20, 1883 in Rock Island, the daughter of John and Margaret Grappe Huss and was a lifetime resident of the city.
She was married to Andrew Luckenbiehl in 1909. She later was married to Bert A. Landers in 1928. He died in 1935.
During World War II, she was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal. She was a member of the Gloria Dei United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one stepson, Gerald B. Landers, Newport Richey, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Krikham, of Rock Island.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
