Graveside services for Tommy Lewis Pearson, Jr. age 51 of Dubach, LA will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Marvin Whinham under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston.

Tommy Lewis Pearson, Jr., son of Tommy and Paulette Pearson, was born on October 6, 1969 and he departed this earth on November 5, 2020 after a brief illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jane, MO.

He is preceded in death by his mother Paulette Pearson, grandparents; Winnie and Ina Pearson, and Clarence and Eddie Mae Murray. Tom is survived by his daughter, Brittney Pearson and two sons, Ronald Pearson (Bubba) and Richard Pearson of Dubach, LA; father Tommy Pearson, Sr. Of Dubach, LA; sister, Tiffany Hope Short and her husband Ron Short of Seneca, MO; brother, Anthony Murray Pearson of Clinton, AR; one niece, Haley Pearson of Clinton, AR, and two nephews, Ryan Pearson of Clinton, AR and Brandon Fletcher of Kansas, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tom's family will always remember him as their sweet and gentle giant. He was a devoted and loving father and the biggest loves of his life were his children (Bubba, Brittney and Richard), his parents (Tommy and Paulette) and his dog (white boy). There has never been a stronger friendship between father and son than there was with Tom and his dad. Tom and his dad were best friends and the love between these two was strong and unbreakable and will live on until they meet again. Tom had a sarcastic sense of humor that could help anyone get through a difficult situation. He had a contagious smile and would often chuckle at his own jokes. He was an avid gun enthusiast, dog lover, and hunter. He loved God, guns, his family and his country. Tom will be missed here on Earth, but will be dancing with his mother in Heaven. Gone, but never forgotten.

Pallbearers for the service will be Harold (Doonie) Sellers, Andy Sellers, Cody Sellers, Trey Murray, Brandon Murray, and Tracey Murray.
