Obituary for Pamela Anne Mueller
Pamela Anne Mueller passed into Glory on July 22, 2020, and is now in the Presence of the LORD. She was a faithful prayer warrior and a devoted servant of her LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pamela was born in Bryan, TX, on February 20, 1950, to Morris Corn West and Mary Frances (Roberts) West. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Herbert Clem Mueller, M.D.

Pamela grew up in Dallas, TX, and attended Hillcrest High School, where she was an honor student, active in many school organizations and clubs, including the Hillcrest Hurricane newspaper, choir, Bible clubs, and more. She was also very involved with her church, especially the choir ministry, where they performed in countries all over Europe, including behind the Iron Curtain. Her faith was central to her life and in all of her activities. She continued her passion for journalism and writing when she attended Baylor University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Journalism. She met her beloved husband, Clem, their senior year. Clem would often say that when he met Pamela the world turned to color and Pamela said that when she met Clem, the music in the world started to play. Clem and Pamela married at Gaston Avenue Baptist Church on June 29, 1974. Throughout her marriage, pioneering home school days, and the years welcoming children and grandchildren, she was always active in ministries and evangelism, sharing her faith and the source of her joy – a loving Heavenly Father and the Lord of her life. Everyone who knew her counted her as a friend.

Pamela is survived by her eight children: Tiffany and Zac Menerey; Herbert Clem Mueller, Jr. (Bert) and Amanda Mueller; Caroline and Wade Glover; Juliana and Ian Webb; John and Veronica Mueller; Mary Catherine Mueller; Grace Mueller; and Matthew West Mueller; and 20 grandchildren: Samuel, David, Michael, Sophia, Emma Grace & Zoe Menerey; Herbert Clem Mueller, III (Trey), Boyd, Hannah Kate, and Kayla Mueller; Bella, Adelaide, Austin, Worth, and Joseph Glover; Eloise, Audrea, and Baby Webb; and John Christian Mueller, Jr. (JR) and Baby Mueller. She is also survived by her sisters Elizabeth West Dahlin and her husband, Rich, of Columbus, Georgia; Melissa Willoughby, and her husband, David, of Dallas, TX; and her brother, Morris Roberts West (Rob) and Natalie of Dallas, TX; as well as her aunts, her cousins, and her nieces and nephews and their families.

Pamela Mueller was an active member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church for over 22 years. Prior to that, she was a member of ORBC for four years, and before that, Believers Chapel in Dallas. Pamela Mueller was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a righteous woman of integrity – blessed with incredible wisdom, joy, courage, compassion, brilliance, hospitality, gratitude, and grace. She was known as a woman of faith, an encourager, a prayer warrior, a dear friend to all, a wise counselor, and a constant cheerleader and source of joy for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She authentically lived out her faith and love for Jesus Christ and His Word to her family and to everyone she came across – whether in the midst of joys or trials. By God's grace and mercy, she had been in remission from stage four lymphoma since 2017. However, these past few months, she valiantly battled complications from COVID-19 before the Lord called her Home.

Pamela was known for her creative and artistic eye – always appreciating the wonders of God's creation – from stormy skies to beautiful blossoms – and often pointing others to see the beauty of the world through her art, painting, photography, and writing. She remembered everyone's birthdays and anniversaries and always made you feel special. She would often send encouraging and affirming messages and handwritten notes. She never wasted an opportunity to make you feel valued and would encourage you in your faith. She would often say, "You brighten my day!" Of course, she always brightened ours. We love her to pieces and miss her so much. We are grateful the Lord blessed us with such a loving mother and dear friend.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30, 1:30 PM at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, 4124 Oak Lawn Ave., Dallas, TX 75219, with the Rev. Paul Goebel officiating.
