Laura Nichole Freeman age 40 passed away Wednesday November 4, 2020. She was born December 19, 1979 in Hamilton to the late Darryl Simpson and Cynthia Banfield. On June 9, 2018 she married Ryan Freeman. Laura is survived by her loving husband Ryan Freeman; mother Cynthia Banfield; siblings Susan Banfield, Jeremy (Bobbie) Simpson, Natasha Simpson, Jennifer Simpson, Sarah Simpson; mother in law Sherry Doria; father in law Tommy "Poppy" Freeman; brother in law Brent Doria; aunts Loretta Perry, Annette Banfield-Speight, Natalia Banfield, Beverly (Robert) Freel, Rhonda (Gentry) Stevens, Gina (Mark) Hertle; uncles David (Vicky) Simpson, Alfonso Smith, James Simpson, Dale Peters, and was also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Darryl Simpson, special aunt Doris Johnson, aunts Birdella Peters, Sissy, and uncles George Banfield, Terry Simpson; grandfather Buster Banfield and grandmother Ruth McVey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Paula Weisenberger, the OHC staff, Vitas Hospice Homecare staff, and honorary sisters Bobbie Simpson and Kelly Dunaway.
