A proud veteran, Kenneth served our country in the U.S. Army. Dorothy “Dot” Smith became Kenneths’ wife on September 18, 1957, in Mexico. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage until Dot’s death on February 3, 2012. Kenneth spent his life on the family farm until 1982, when he and Dot moved to town because of health reasons. They spent years there enjoying life.
Those left to mourn his passing include his son and spouse; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; daughter, Ginger; son, Kent; brothers, Leon and Leonard; and two sisters, Ladonna and Clarice.
Inurnment and committal was at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, WaKeeney.
