Linda Brewer, 74, of Success, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at home. Mrs. Brewer was born in Poplar Bluff, MO., on May 6, 1946. She worked in the business office at Pocahontas Community Hospital. She was mayor of Success, a board member for Hitt Cemetery and a past board member for the Family Medical Center. She enjoyed antiquing and cross-stitch. She was a member of the Amity Missionary Baptist Church in Doniphan, MO.
She married her husband of 56 years Mr. Jim Brewer on August 7, 1964. He survives, other survivors include two sons Jeff Brewer and wife Gina of Corning, Dr. Timothy Brewer and wife Christie of Guy; three sisters Susan and husband Bill Maxwell of Hot Springs, Ginger Musso of Hot Springs, and Patty and husband Ernie Averill of Kiefer, OK.; seven grandchildren Lucas (Alex), Brayden, Andrew (Bailey), Page, Sam, John and Lydia.
She was preceded in death by her parents S.L. and Virginia (Baldridge) Phipps.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Brewer and Rev. Ernie Cate officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hitt Cemetery in Success. Visitation will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
