Veronica Woods, 56, of Plainview, passed away on November 3, 2020. Services are scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2020 at Plainview Family Church of Nazarene at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Bartley Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.

Veronica was born on January 13, 1964 to Irma Macias and Guadalupe Luna in Lockney, Texas. She grew up in Plainview and graduated in 1982 at Plainview High School. She was a member of Plainview Family Church of Nazarene for over 10 years. She was a very faithful servant. Veronica was a home interior decorator and loved decorating for the holidays. She worked for Marshfield Food Safety for 5 years. Veronica was a fun loving and caring mother and grandmother. Her world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She loved attending all of their sporting events. She enjoyed dancing, karaoke, her hot pink lipstick, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Veronica was known for her unique laugh, outspoken honesty, perfectionism, and never missing the chance to help others. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory is her father; Guadalupe Luna of Plainview, Texas, her two children; Stephanie Woods and husband, Sandie Lawson, of Plainview, Texas and Brandon Woods and wife, Yvonne, of Plainview, Texas, her grandchildren; Brooklyn Woods, Jayvian Lawson, Dorion Woods, Kamryn Woods, Jerze Lawson, Brayden Woods, Marco Rodriguez, Genisis Woods, and Zeabrion Woods, a brother; Felix Vargas Jr. of Plainview, sisters; Viola Luna Davis of Sandy Springs, Georgia, Carmen Clark of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Norma Luna of Copperas Cove, Texas, Irene Luna of Lubbock, Texas, Raquel Settle of Plainview, Texas, Maria McDonald of San Antonio, Texas, Sylvia Luna of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Christina Luna of Plainview, Texas

Veronica is preceded in death by her mother; Irma Luna, and her grandparents; Anastacio and Eusebia Macias.
