David Bradley Baldwin, Sr., 81, of Baldwin Farm Lane, died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Shirley Mann Baldwin for 57 years.

Born in Appomattox, August 17, 1939, he was a son of the late Nannie Wright and Charles Witt Baldwin, Sr. Bradley was a member of Rocks Baptist Church, founding member of H&P Hunt Club, Appomattox Moose Lodge, avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from Southern Air.

In addition to his wife, he is survived one daughter, Carolyn Baldwin and fiancée, Jeff Fannon; three grandchildren; Jonathan “Boogie” Bell and wife, Patricia who he raised as his son, Sarah Michelle Baldwin and Vincent, Ryan Ford “Little Man” and Hannah Lacks; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Atkins; sister-in-law, Elizabeth E. Baldwin; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, David “Jake” Bradley Baldwin, Jr.; a brother, Charles Witt Baldwin, Jr.; and two sisters, Doris Weatherholtz and Edith Doss.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Rocks Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Lee officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at his residence.
