Michelle Rose Parker, 50, of Bertram, TX, went to be with her beloved Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 1, 2020.

Michelle committed her heart to the Lord at a young age and then lived life fully in pursuit of His glory. Those who knew her well are certain that she was greeted in heaven with the words "well done my good and faithful servant".

Michelle was born in Austin, TX on June 11, 1970 to Burt and Patty Williams.

She met Sheppard Parker at Grace Bible Church in Georgetown and they were married shortly thereafter in 2002.

Michelle is survived by her husband and their three children: Isaac, Zoe, and Kai all of Bertram, Texas; her mother Patty Williams of Georgetown, Texas; her father Burt Williams and step-mother Radell Williams of Wortham, Texas; and her sister Amy McHugh and brother-in-law John McHugh and their children McKayla, Nathanael, Nicolas, Noah, Charlie, Molly, Emily, Maggie, Joshua and Adelynne of Georgetown, Texas.

Michelle attended Georgetown High School (where she was a straight A student and an avid and accomplished flute player) and the University of Texas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Education and a teaching proficiency in Spanish. She worked for many years in both the Austin and Georgetown Independent School Districts as an ESL teacher for 1st and 2nd grade native Spanish speaking children.

She loved to read, was a constant and curious student of the Bible, and enjoyed her quiet times with the Lord - sometimes at random hours in the middle of the night.

She was generally quiet, but she had firm convictions and a unique ability to encourage friends and family by speaking the truth gently at the right time in order to be a help in times of need.

Michelle was a teacher for her own children as a homeschooling Mom who coordinated their education right up until her passing. She also was active in Trail Life as an involved parent for her two boys and in American Heritage Girls in support of her daughter. At Austin Oaks Church she was a Sunday School teacher as well as an ESL teacher for adults looking to increase their English language skills.

Michelle's passing from this fallen world has left a hole in the lives of those who love her. Even so, we know that she is in the arms of her Savior and we look forward to be together again, with Him, joyful, for eternity.

A gathering for friends and family to celebrate Michelle's life will be held in the Spring of 2021, Lord willing.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be directed to Lifesong for Orphans.
