Connie, 73, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Capital Medical Center, following a short battle with cancer. Constance Louise was born to Russell M. and Rosa J. (Ratkie) Hickam in Doty, Washington. She married W. "Jack" Wilson on June 2, 1951. They raised their four children on the family dairy farm. She later married Carvel Leonard, who preceded her in death. Connie loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the casino, gardening, bowling, and traveling with her brother, Russell Hickam. She will forever be remembered as kind, loving, and a giving mom, gramma and friend. She is survived by her children, Mike (Terry), Ken (Vickie), Larry (Lauri) Wilson, Brenda (Mark) Hetland; stepdaughters, Amy and Patty Leonard; sister, Susan (Larry) Vandervort; ten grandchildren, and one great grandson. A Celebration of Connie's life will be held at her home on the family farm on Saturday, September 29, 1:00 p.m. followed by a gathering at Mike and Terry Wilson's home. A private inurement will be held later in the Mills & Mills Memorial Park,Tumwater.
