He was the only child of Albert B Cummings, Jr. and Dora Perry. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Marjorie and Robert Cummings. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Crossroads Community Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Diana; and brother, Richard. Surviving are his son, Kyle (Elisha); brother, Fred (Ann); sisters-in-law, Patty and Sue.
