Peacefully, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, December 22nd, 2006, Elsie Cecelia (Van Landschoot) Erauw of Tillsonburg (Hickory Hills) formerly of R.R. #1, Delhi at the age of 73 years. Born in Exfrid Township, Middlesex County, Ontario, October 21, 1933, daughter of the late Cyriel and Mary (Grammens) Van Landschoot. Predeceased by her much loved husband of 40 years, Lucien Erauw. Loving mother of Marianne (Rick Goethals) of Langton; Dianne (Alan Verspeeten) of Tillsonburg. Proud and loving grandmother of five grandchildren. Much loved sister of Joe and Lisa Van Landschoot of R.R. #1 Delhi. Elsie was a member of Sacred Heart church and C.W.L., dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delhi Belgian Club, Delhi; Friendship Club Shuffleboard and the Langton Merry Makers. Friends and relatives were welcomed to meet with the family on Tuesday, December 26, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the VERHOEVE FUNERAL HOME, Langton (519-875-4464). C.W.L. Prayers were Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Parish Prayers were Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, December 27, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Albert Street, Langton by Rev. Father Maurice Charbonneau. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Langton. Memorial donations payable by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
