Warren Keith Hill, 66, died Tuesday, October 27. He was born on February 19, 1954 to the late Joseph Sturgist and Jimmie Neal Hill. After graduating from Booker T. Washington High School in 1971, he attended Mississippi Valley State University and later joined the U.S. Air Force. Shortly thereafter, he was employed at the Defense Depot for 21 years. He also served at the 164 Tennessee Air National Guard in civil engineering, where he worked in Operations as a Utilities Craftsman and retired as a Technical Sergeant. Following his retirement, Warren pursued another career path with the Shelby County Government in Protective Services for Mayors Jim Rout, A C Wharton and Mark H. Luttrell and later retired. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Donna Hill, daughter, Lawanda "BeBe" (Dale) Moore, two sons, Keith (Renisha) Hill and Jamal (Ashia) Hill; sister Elois (Herbert) Mhoon, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. The family will receive guests at the visitation service on Sunday, November 8 from 1p.m. - 4 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Rd, Memphis, TN. The Interment will take place November 20, 11 a.m. at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125.
