She retired from W.M. Bassett after many years of service. She was a member of Moral Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Axton.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Ben Hodge; one son, Gary D. Hodge (Carla); three daughters, Cynthia H. Preston (Greg), Cloresa Hodge and Karen H. Green (Dennis); three brothers, George Edward Martin, Howard Martin and Leroy Petty; three sisters, Lois Adams, Barbara Hairston and Wanda Roberts; eight grandchildren; a host other relatives.
Burial will be at Carver Memorial Gardens.
