WARNER, Betty L., age 96, of Springboro, formerly of Kettering, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020. Betty was born January 28, 1924 in Pleasant Hill, OH to Albert and Ruth (Shafer) Thompson. She graduated from Newton High School in Pleasant Hill. During World War II, Betty corresponded with her friend Larry Warner. They later married in 1946 and moved to Dayton in the early 50s after starting their family together. In Dayton Betty worked for NCR Credit Union before working for Top Value Enterprises. After their retirements, Larry and Betty enjoyed 21 years of sunshine while residing in Palmetto, FL. There Betty led a very active lifestyle filled with lots of days spent swimming, playing cards with friends, sewing and crocheting. They were also members of Terra Ceia United Methodist Church. Both Larry and Betty were members of Christ United Church in Kettering. Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 67 years, Lawrence Warner; brothers, Dale and Delmar Thompson; twin brother, Bob Thompson; and sister, Esther Smith. Betty is survived by children, Larry (Sue) Warner, and Nicki Warner; Grandchildren, Todd (Jennifer) Warner, Matthew (Angie) Woolf, Tracy (Andrew) Loper, and Melanie (Joshua) Singleton; great-grandchildren, Allison Mannix, Amanda Seifert, Kristine Seifert, Jacob Woolf, Eva Singleton; brother-in-law, Marlin Warner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
