Webb City, Mo. Violet Leotta (Odie) Patterson, age 96, of Webb City, Mo. passed away at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at her home. Odie was born January 18, 1924 in Joplin and was a lifetime area resident. She was a Homemaker, and was a member of the Oronogo Baptist Church. Odie married Loyd Patterson on January 5, 1946 in Columbus, Ks. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1989, She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Wilson, seven brothers, and five sisters.
Survivors include a son, Loyd Patterson and wife Denise, Carl Junction, Mo. a daughter, Debbie Aggus and husband Gary, Springfield, Mo., six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with Rev. Jerry Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers including Holly Jaeger, Josh Wilson, Erin Sutton, Kelli Wehr, Nicholas Patterson, and Emily Patterson. Memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in care of the Mortuary. The family has requested funeral attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
