Ashley Nicole Arnold, age 37 of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly on November 1st, 2020 after a brief illness.
Ashely was born on December 16th, 1982 in Kingsport to Michael Lynn Arnold and Karen Fay Arnold of Mount Carmel. She grew up in Mount Carmel and was a member of the Volunteer High School class of 2001. Ashley overcame many difficulties and challenges in her life to grow into a strong women, a loyal friend, and a moving mother and wife.
Ashley loved her family exceedingly. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of nearly 14 years, Leon Mathews; her son Cameron Mathews (age 13); brother Jeremy Arnold and wife Sara; two nephews Camden Hicks and Jayden Edwards; four nieces Nora Arnold, Willow Arnold, Aclasia Edwards, and Arella Edwards; and her bestfriend Carrie Hicks and husband Chris.
A small memorial service for Ashley will be held in Laurel Run park in Church Hill from 1pm to 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her families GoFundMe drive to cover funeral expenses.
