*************************

Lawrence Edward White was born to the union of Joseph White Sr. and Mary Carlock on September 15, 1945 in Senatobia, Mississippi.

Lawrence served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for various Home Healthcare companies and was devoted to his clients and loved helping them until his retirement.

Lawrence loved playing dominos, card games and chess. He spent countless hours at various casinos with family and friends. He was known for jokes and a unique sense of humor especially with the children. Although Lawrence had a straight forward personality he would listen to you with lots of patience. And let's not forget his favorite meal of the day was "spaghetti"

Lawrence loved all his family, but he had become a surrogate father/grandfather with his nephew Derwin (Shaquita) and their kids Wayne, Trenisha, Sean, Diamond/Derwin Jr and Daniel, which they shared a strong bond and loving home for many years.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his fond memories, his brother Derek Carlock; two sisters Phyllistine Carlock and Herdia Carlock; one sister-in-law Alesia Carlock; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

On October 30, 2020, death carried a brother, uncle, cousin and friend, whom touched many people during his path of life. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents Joseph White Sr and Mary Carlock; two brothers Joseph White Jr and Timothy Carlock; one sister Claudia White; and his aunt Ethel Singleton.
