Kevin Loy Wilson of Seymour, Missouri passed away October 5, 2020. Kevin lost his fight to ARDS after 1.5 years of a long battle at home with his family and loved ones. Kevin was born August 24, 1955, in Phoenix, Arizona to Robert and Laverna Wilson. He moved to Missouri at a young age. Kevin graduated from South Harrison High School in 1974. He Graduated from Missouri Western State University in December 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts. Kevin served 29 years and retired from the Air Force. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Laverna Wilson. Kevin is survived by his three daughters: Angel Swank, Faith McAgaughy, and Tamara Wilson. Kevin has nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and leaves behind 4 brothers.
Kevin loved all sorts of things, but by far three topped the list: traveling, airplanes, and family. He always brought back a little piece of knowledge from each place. From the C-130 to the P-51 Mustang, if it had a cockpit and wings, he knew about it. His love for airplanes started at an early age when his dad would take him to the airport to watch the planes, which he carried on the tradition with his daughters, and grandchildren.
