Ms. Joyce A Serwatowski/Hughes born October 24, 1934, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 3rd, 2020 at the age of 86. Joyce lived in Young Harris for the past 17 years and loved the North Georgia Mountain Living!
The most Important and Greatest accomplishment in her life has been her Children. Her love of all children has led her throughout most of her Earthly Journey.
Joyce was the Founder and Director of the Catholic Pre-School Association and also assisted in founding the Gibson School for the Gifted in Michigan. She was head teacher and director there.
Joyce has two Masters Degrees in English Grammar and Magna Cum Laud which became a star in her crown! Her travels took her to Hawaii to The Kansighadi College, a Japanese College in 1986 as a Teacher of English Grammar.
Joyce was a successful Published Writer of a variety of Magazines and an Accomplished Speaker at many events. She loved collecting Children's Books and Golf Memorabilia.
My mother always said that the Best thing that ever happened to her was being blessed with three daughters and a son, six grandchildren, seven Great Grand Children and one GREAT-GREAT grand baby!!!
All THIS and so so much more have been her contributions to our Planet.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date At Michigan Memorial. As of now, The Mountain View Funeral Home in Blairsville Georgia will be handling the arrangements.
