Steven Andrew Klein, 66, of Sedalia, died Thursday, October 29, 2020, at his home.

He was born April 13, 1954, in Sedalia, son of Carol N. (Houk) Klein.

Steve was a 1972 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He started out working for the Sheet Metal Workers Union. Then in October 1984, he bought what he would name Steve’s Korner Lounge. He operated the business for 25 years before selling it to his son. During that time, he also had a concrete construction business called SAK Construction.

After retirement, Steve loved to tinker and work on things. He was always willing to help people if they needed something fixed. Everything he did was always done to perfection. He was a hard worker and lived life his way.

Surviving are his father, sons, and their mothers, seven grandchildren, brother, a sister, his companion, and her daughter, and his best friend, his dog, Rascal.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Klein; and infant brother, Ricky Dean Klein.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Heckart Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020, at Heckart Funeral Home.
