STONEVILLE - Shawn Lee Wilson, 30, died on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Wilson Family Cemetery, Amostown Road, Sandy Ridge.

Shawn was born on August 18, 1990 in Rockingham County. His passion of racing began early in the go-kart circle, then later moved on to help his dad as crew chief with his late model racing career. He enjoyed being at 311 Speedway and working alongside his dad and family at KMS Roofing.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Nicole Wilson; maternal grandparents, John and Margaret Duncan Joyce and paternal grandparents, Jimmy Lee Wilson and Lynda Richardson Vaden.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Ryland Carter McNeil and Kolton Reece McNeil; parents, Kevin Lee Wilson and Melinda Joyce Wilson and siblings, Kristen Leigh Wilson and Shane Matthew Wilson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison and all other times at the home.
