Patsy Jackson, 83, of Anamosa, died October 31, 2020 at the Anamosa Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Buchholz Mortuary, 619 Rue St. Francis, Florissant, MO. Burial will be in Salem Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am to the time of service on Monday.

Patsy Ann Miller was born February 13, 1937 in Edgar County, IL, the daughter of John and Eula (Kimbrough) Miller. She attended schools in Cory, IN and graduated from Cory High School.

On December 21, 1956 she married Robert Jackson in Cory. He died in 1999.

The couple made their home in the St. Louis, MO area where Pasty took care of the home and her family.

Later she went to work at State Farm Insurance in St. Louis, retiring in 2005.

She was a longtime member of the Halls Ferry Christian Church, Black Jack, MO.

She was an avid supporter of the St. Louis County Police Department and participated in its Citizen Police Academy. She also was involved in A Soldiers Wish List, which supported deployed members of the Armed Forces.

Patsy enjoyed doing crafts, baking and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Kimberly (Rick) Hamilton, Richmond, VA, Karen (Robert) Keeney, Stafford, VA, and Kevin (Angela) Jackson, Coggon, IA, grandchildren Robert “Burke” Keeney III, Michael (Erika) Keeney, Julianne Keeney, Erin Jackson, Reaghan Jackson, Rachael Jackson, Matthew Hamilton, William Hamilton, Tristan Hamilton, Christopher Hamilton, John Hamilton, Aiden Hamilton and Mason Hamilton.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings Floyd, Daniel, Charles, Kenneth, John and Bernice Trump.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
