Michael was born in Melbourne, Florida, into the Dibéłzhíní clan (Black Sheep) and born for Naahiłii (African American).
Michael is survived by his parents, Daniel Watts and Lois Watts; and sister, Candace Watts.
He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Michael graduated from Highland High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico. He had many activities he loved to do, visiting worldwide historical sites and museums, traveling to NYC, cooking, photography, hiking, walking, volunteering at the food bank, helping with his disabled uncle’s care, being an advocate of sustainability, and building his music collection. His main joys were being a movie fan, his pet Sookie, and being a lifelong fan of Madonna.
