Kevin Lewis Beck, 57, of Shevlin, Minnesota died of ALS on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bagley, Minnesota with Pastor Randy McGuire Officiating. Visitation will be held 1-hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Kevin was born on January 10, 1963 at Northwood, ND the son of Lester and Pearl (Swenson) Beck. He was baptized in 1963 at Hatton, ND and was confirmed at Shevlin, MN in 1981. Kevin attended school and graduated from Bagley High School in 1981. Kevin has lived a majority of his life in Shevlin, and worked with his dad at Clearwater Nursery, doing landscaping and tree moving. He married Darla Iverson on July 3, 1982 and they had 5 children- Kaelin, Tyler, Adam, Noelle and Riley. They were later divorced in 1996 and remained good friends. Kevin was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was the past president of the Bagley Hockey Association in which he was very involved. Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, ice fishing and a Budweiser at Silver Creek. He had a love for all sports especially Hockey and football. He was an avid Minnesota Wild Hockey fan and enjoyed their games. His family and grandchildren were very important to him, and he loved them very much.
