Allen D. Priar, Sr., 80, of Greeneville, died Saturday at Signature Health Care. Mr Priar suffered a stroke in 2000 which caused early retirement – Semi Truck Driver profession. He was a Member of Central Baptist Church. Mr. Priar enjoyed going to church, fishing, softball games, football games, motorcycles, Nascar, Wrestling, but his most enjoyable thing to do was to sit on his front porch and keep watch over his neighborhood. He was a fixture on that porch that has been sadly missed for the past 2 years.

He is survived by 4 Sons, Raymond Weekly, Jr & wife Becky – Maryville, TN, Barry Weekly & friend, Nicole Drake – Etowah, NC, Allen D. Priar, Jr & wife Diane – Owensboro, KY, David Priar & wife Jeanine – Moshiem, TN. 2 Daughters, Nancy Paulette House – Ownesboro, KY, Lori Mysinger & husband Brent – Greeneville, TN. 14 Grandchildren, Aleshia Weekly, Hannah Weekly, Daniel Weekly, Tim Weekly, Jason Weekly, Chad Priar, Aleta Heck, Jacob Priar, Justin House, Makayla House, Julian House, Tyler Reaves, Nancy Gossiaux, Bethany Weems. Several special nieces and nephews, Several “adopted” nieces and nephews, Close friends and Family, Charles & wife Wanda Mysinger, Chuck, Michelle & Logan Humphreys, Cindy and Charles Morelock, Bridget Greene, Opie & wife Kelly Fox, Deborah Roberts Kidd, Brad Mysinger, Eddie Turner, Ron Athon, Terry Wykle.

He was Preceded in death by, Wife Judy Ann Diveley Priar, Sister/Brother in law Claudette & husband James “PI” Howard, Brother Everette “Boogie” Priar, Parents – Claude & Catherine Priar.

Honorary Pall Bearers will be members of His Sunday School class and the Praying Pilgrims ministry at Central Baptist Church and The Staff at Signature Healthcare

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Signature Healthcare for taking exceptional care of “Pops” and for loving him like he was their own father and grandfather.

The Graveside Service will be Saturday November 7, 2020 at 1:30 pm in GraceLand Memorial Gardens with Pastor Danny Cooper officiating.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials maybe made to Jeffers Funeral Home or a charity of your choice.

Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service are in charge of arrangements.
