Patsy Ruth Mason-Brown, 94, died at her home of 55 years on Saturday, October 31, 2020, following a gallant battle with breast cancer. Graveside service with honors was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, 9 November, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. She was born Patsy Ruth Mason August 13, 1926 to Quilla and Eddie Marie Odom Mason in Queen City, Texas. She had three siblings, Kenneth, Herb and Jimmie. Patsy enlisted in the US Army during World War II as a clerical administrator, state side, and received an honorable discharge in 1945. Pat married Vindell Brown in 1947, which was soon followed by the birth of two daughters, Sharon Brown Brewer (Spouse Mark Brewer) and Toni Brown Boswell (Fiancé Kevin Maynes). She was also survived by a step granddaughter Kerri Cooper and family; nephew, Tom Hart and family; and niece, Johanna Smith and family. She got her real estate license and enjoyed working with families and finding homes for them. For a pastime she enjoyed oil painting, and painted many beautiful pictures. She always looked forward to spring and going to the nursery, buying and planting flowers in her yard. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and all the family getting together to celebrate. She loved the companionship of her little Shih-Tzu rescue, Bitsy. She was a loving Mother, always with a smile. An outdoor reception followed the service at the home of her nephew, Tom Hart, Grand Prairie, Texas.
