Services for Ronald Lee Runyan will be held at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Sulphur. Burial will follow at the Drake Cemetery.

Ronald was born May 5, 1960 in Sulphur to Kenneth E. and Dorothy Lee (Malloy) Runyan. He died Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in Tulsa, at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 23 days.

Ronald grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School, Class of 1978. Following high school, he began a life long career in the oil field industry. Throughout his many years in the industry, Ronald worked various positions, with several major oil companies, both in the United States and over seas. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing horses. Ronald cherished spending time with his beloved family.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Runyan of Gore, OK; two daughters, Reggi Brown and Raelee Burns, both of Ada; five grandchildren, Madison Brown, McKenzie Runyan, Donovan Brown, Cameron Burns and Rylee Burns; one great-granddaughter, Lyberty Runyan; expected great-grandson, Koa Walker; the mother of his two daughters, Rhonda Farmer; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, including Gary Billings, whom he revered as a brother.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Runyan and brother, Darrell Runyan.
