Janet Kay Gohagan Mullins, age 64 of Sanford, died Thursday (10/29/2020) at her home. She was born in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Linward Alva Gohagan and Marion Elva Johnson Gohagan. She was preceded in death by her parents. Janet retired from Coty after 38 years of service. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at the Broadway Town Cemetery with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Surviving is her husband of 46 years, Homer Mullins of the home. Daughter, Jennifer Kay Boyce of Sanford, NC. Son, Dan Mullins of the home. Sisters, Donna Gohagan of Sanford, Mary Beth Gohagan of Sanford, Debra Gohagan of Minnesota and brother, Steve Gohagan of Sanford. Grandchildren, Tyler Speagle and Jasmin Boyce. Nephew, who was like a son, Ronnie Barber and wife Michele and her son George Baker Jr. of Topsail Beach, NC and her special fur babies, Luke “Moo-Moo”, Max, and Marvin. Friends and family may visit the funeral home on Saturday from 1-5pm to sign the register. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and everyone is asked to wear a mask. Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts may be made to Smith Funeral Home, Broadway to help with funeral expenses.
