Virginia "Jennie" Shaw, 71, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital. Jennie was born on September 26, 1949 in Jellico, TN, to the late Harold and Myrtle Evans.
She worked as an inspector for Fire King until retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Shaw Sr., and a brother, Harold Evans Jr.
Jennie is survived by her son, Marvin Shaw Jr. (Lisa O'Neil); a brother, Alvin Evans (Sue); a niece, Cortney Evans; four grandchildren, J.P. O'Neil (Adrea), Kenneth O'Neil (Taylor), Brittany Meford (Sam), Victoria O'Neil; and eight great grandchildren, Brayden, Samantha, Easton, Kennedy, Ashlynn, Carson, Peyton, and Evelyn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 4-8 PM with cremation to follow with burial Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
