Linda Sue Cox Powers, age 67 of Pleasureville, died Friday, October 30, 2020, at Baptist Health of Louisville. She was born in Lebanon (Marion County) on August 15, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Walter Louis Cox and Mossie Dell Cain Cox. She was a housewife and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville.

She is survived by her husband: John Sylvester Powers of Pleasureville; one son: Henry John Powers of Frankfort; one daughter: Christina Gale Raisor of Shelbyville; one brother: Ronnie Gene Cox of Pleasureville; two sisters: Edna Mae Ayers of Pleasureville and Myrtle Marie Walker of Eminence; and two grandchildren: Christina Marie Raisor of Shelbyville and Gracie Ann Schuller of Frankfort.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Coleman Colston will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday November 3 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and November 4, 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. Burial will be in Defoe Cemetery.
