Danny's parents were Monroe Knight and Hazel Richardson Knight of Monroe. Danny was preceded in death by his son, Jason Scott Knight.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Knight; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Dan Peppers; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Peggy Knight of Covington; several nieces and nephews.
Danny retired from Walton EMC with 30 years of service. He served in the GA National Guards. He is known for his beautiful voice and has sung at many weddings, funerals, and other gatherings solo then also with a group called (The Strings of Praise) as they all played guitars as well as sang. Danny was the music director through the years at several churches. He was an ordained deacon and had served as Men's Sunday School Teacher, Church Clerk, and Brotherhood Director. He had a love for old cars and motorcycles. He was known to always do his best at whatever he endeavored to do. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2nd, 20202 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Braswell Holiness Church Cemetery. Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
