Barbara leaves friends too numerous to count. Those who knew her appreciated her sincerity and giving spirit. Barbara is survived by her spouse of 62 years, Melvin Butler. Children, Gary Butler of Madisonville, TN, Barry (Chris) Butler of Sparta, TN, Tammy Rausin of Philadelphia, TN and Terry (Martin) Laettner of Nashville, TN. She was indescribably proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandchildren, Casey Rausin, Courtney (Kevin) Cornett and her special Chloe all of Monroe County, TN, Amber Brown and Parker Templeton, both of Nashville. Great grandchildren Reed, Austin and Davis Cornett and Amya Nelson. She is also survived by brothers Charles (Violet) Anderson, Doug Anderson, and sister, Roxie (Wilford) Isbill, Brother in law, Marvin Butler, Sisters in law, Lola (Wayne) Taylor, Flo Snyder, Artie Sloan, Ruth (Dean) Pike and Dot (John) Helms and all their families that she loved and spoke of often.
Funeral 7 P.M. Tuesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Chris Moore & Dr. Lon Shoopman officiating. Interment 11 A.M. Wednesday, Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bert Blankenship, Charlie Lee, Daniel Lane, Kevin Cornett, Larry Sloan, Phillip Swanson and Tommy “L” Simpson.
