Wesley Cooper, 49, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was born on December 18, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky to Vernon and Kay Cooper.

He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Cooper, grandparents, Sam and Dorothy Cooper and John and Helen Smith.

Wesley was a member of Gospel Kingdom Church; where he served as a usher for many years and where he had tremendous faith in his Pastor, Brother Jesse Urbano. He will be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his job at McDonalds at Greenwood and Terry Rd for 16 years. Wesley will be remembered for so much of what he accomplished throughout his life, but most of all, he will be remembered for the abundance of love he had for his family and the senior saints of the church.

Wesley is survived by mother, Kay Cooper, brother, Tony (Revonna) Cooper, two nephews, five nieces, one great niece and one great nephew, aunt, Alvita England, aunt, Jakita (Dale) Keehn, uncle, John W. (Anita) Smith, and many cousins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow in Gospel of the Kingdom Campground Cemetery in Shepherdsville, KY 40165.
