Private funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Bateman Funeral Chapel in Gresham for Caroline R. Hunter, 89, who died Thursday in her home at 7124 N. Concord St.
She was born in Dundy County, Neb., and moved to Scappoose in 1936. She moved to the Portland area in 1951. She was a former schoolteacher.
She is survived by two daughters, Ida Ritchie of Gresham and Vivian Lyle of Portland. Vault interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
