Lexington Intelligencer, April 23, 1904 Enoch Meyer, whose death we announced last week in the Emma items, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Meyer of near Emma, and died Thursday, April 7, 1904, of blood poisoning resulting from a wound caused by a rusty nail.

He was born near Emma on January 21, 1883, and was a promising young man. He leaves his parents, three brothers: George, Henry and Otto, and five sisters: Emilie, Mrs. Herman Meyer, Rosa, Mrs. Graf, Lena Mrs. F. Brackmann, and Misses Lizzie and Lydia to mourn his early demise.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the mourners in their bereavement.--Concordian
