Born May 5, 1953 in Oblong, IL he was one of four children born to Herbert Glenn and Hazel Pauline (Mikeworth) Osborne.

Tom graduated Oblong High School in 1971, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country from 1971 until 1974. Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Tom attended Lincoln Trail College where he obtained his associate degree. Tom worked for Whirlpool Incorporated in Evansville, IN as a Product Designer in the Engineering Department. He was a former member of the Quail Creek Country Club in Robinson, IL and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed Fantasy Football with the Chicago Bears being his favorite team. Tom enjoyed photography, traveling and was a collector of frogs. The two things he loved most were his grandkids and his Mustang.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Isiah and Cassandra Osborne, Robinson, IL; a daughter and son-in-law, Kivalina and Dan Clark, Brighton, IL; three grandchildren, Landee Clark, Will Clark and Adalyn Clark and one grandchild, “Baby” Osborne on the way. Also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy G. “Tim” and Tracy Osborne, Bullhead City, AZ, Terry G. and Marie Osborne, Wasilla, AK; Cheryl Osborne of Oblong, IL., the grandmother of all the grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and an infant sister, Paula Yvette Osborne.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 8, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Martin Township Community building.
