Ruth Norene Skinner, age 88, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away October 30, 2020 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Born on October 16, 1932 in Bradford, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Leota McCartney Scantlin.

Ruth was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arvil Skinner, her brothers Paul and Claude Scantlin, and her grandson Robert Hill.

She is survived by her brother Dale Scantlin, her daughter Connie Skinner, her son Dewayne Skinner, her granddaughter Denice Hill, her grandsons Colby and Aaron Skinner, and her great-granddaughter Kailee Hill. Mrs. Skinner is also survived by her other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Olmstead Funeral Home with Thomas “T.J.” Stark officiating. Interment will follow in Old Salem Cemetery in Gravesville, Arkansas.
