Steven Howard Turner, Sr., 88, of Panama City, passed away October 29, 2020. He was born in Liberty, NC, and lived in Panama City since 1959. Howard was the former owner and operator of T & T Underground Construction, specializing in underground utility construction. In his younger years, he enjoyed driving race cars throughout the Southeast and also was an avid bowler and fisherman. Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Turner; parents, Franklin and Ava Turner; and four brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his children, Steve Turner, Jr. (Brenda) of Panama City; Susan Brady (Gerald) of Liberty, NC and Patricia Folse (Harold) of Baton Rouge, LA; 2 sisters, Carolyn and Lonna; his grandchildren, Joe Turner, Brenda Turner, Stephanie McCormick, Kristen Deel, LaDonna Edenfield, Erica Nale and Paul Robinson; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00.
