Genevieve Kathleen Wallwork (nee O'Donnell) October 13, 1934 – October 15, 2020 It is with deep sadness that the family of Gen Wallwork announces her passing after a brief illness, on Thursday, October 15, 2020, two days after her 86th birthday. She passed away peacefully in Gatineau, Quebec, where she grew up and where she lived for the past 2 years.
Genevieve will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa (Francois) Finken, Kirk Finken, Sylvia (David) Hamilton, and Helen (Lynn) Wallwork. Gen (aka Grandmaman Vivi) will also be fondly remembered by her five granddaughters, Coco-Simone, Anna, Holly, Sarah and Jillian, and her seven great grandchildren, Aya, Brody, Markus, Keegan, Chloe, Levi, Thomas, Preston, as well as by her sister, Maureen (Ron) Pearce.
Gen was predeceased by the love of her life, Jim Wallwork, and her three brothers, Jim, Pat and Frank.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Genevieve in late November 2020 in an online service.
Interment at St. Alexander Cemetery (near Arnprior, ON) CEMETERY ID 2557240 on Saturday June 12th, 2021 at 1 p.m.
Gen's ashes will be interred at the O'Donnell family plot in Sand Point, Ontario. A small ceremony will be held so that she may be at rest with her great-grandparents, grandparents, father, and brother. A simple picnic-style luncheon will be offered.
