Karen L. Price went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 29, 2020, in Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her husband and children. She was 76.
She was born on November 2, 1943, to parents Eugene & Barbara (Frontz) Trumpower in Lorain, Ohio. After Karen graduated from Perrysville High School with the class of 1960, she married Bobbie J. Price on November 3, 1961, and have been married for 59 years.
Karen worked at Mansfield Plumbing Products for 27 years until retiring in 2008. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Perrysville Baptist Church.
She was honored with the Mom of Moms Award in 1985 because of her extending her love to other kids beyond her own. She was awarded this because of her presence throughout the years at all the athletic events and drag races she attended. Karen had a positive impact on others that will be remembered forever.
She is survived by her husband Bobbie J. Price; her children Lorie (Joe) Jackson of Loudonville, Janet Mowrey of Loudonville, Michael Price of Perrysville, and Anne (Jarrod) Strouth of Mansfield; grandchildren Scott, Billy, Michael, Stefanie, Abby (Dylan) Allyson, Tyler (Brittany), and Trevor; great-grandchildren Gage, Emma, Hunter, Kyler, Talon, and Jaydan; and siblings Susan (Dale) Spring of Perrysville and Judith Price of Loudonville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Trumpower.
