Funeral services for Samuel Paul Thierry, 55, will be at noon Tuesday, Sept. 26, in Combre Funeral Home. The Rev. Marie Carrier will officiate. Burial will be Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 AM Tuesday. Mr. Thierry died Thursday Sept. 21, 2000, a local hospital. He was a native of Iowa and had lived in Lake Charles for most of his life. Survivors include his wife, six daughters, one brother, six sisters and seven grandchildren.
