Angie was the daughter of Jimmy Robert Chapman and Sandra Kay Byrd Johnson. She was educated in the Houston County and Laurens County School Systems, having attended Westfield School in Perry, Georgia thru the 9th grade, Perry High School and then graduating from Dublin High School in Dublin, Georgia with the Class of 1987. She loved going to the beach and feeding the ducks and mallards by the pond, especially her pet white heron named Bob. She also enjoyed gardening and riding the street of St Augustine at night looking at the lights of the city, which she called her happy place. She was an avid Facebooker. She was of the Baptist faith.
Angie was married to Raymon Roger Pate Jr on August 3, 1991. She later was married to Aaron Bryant for 5 years. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ed Byrd and Sadie Byrd.

Services were held Saturday, November 1, 2020 at 2PM in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins, Georgia with Pastor Ed Chambliss officiating.
